TULSA, OK -- A 40-year-old man is in the Tulsa County jail after he was arrested early Monday morning following two attempted burglaries in the 1800 block of South 106th East Avenue.

Tulsa Police say a resident of the home called police shortly after midnight saying he'd fought with a man who'd just broken into his house.

As officers were responding, they received another report of a burglary attempt a few houses away from the first call.

At the second scene, police say a resident of a home told them a man had just broken into her home and her son was fighting with the man.

When officers arrived, they say they found Anthony Adams in the yard and took him into custody.

Adams was booked into jail on two complaints of breaking and entering.
