Tulsa Police: Bicyclist Involved In Hit And Run Dies

TULSA, OK -- A bicyclist struck early Friday morning in the 3100 block of North Cincinnati has died of injuries sustained in the crash.

Tulsa Police say the bicyclist has been identified as 56-year-old Vernon Worley of Owasso.

Investigators say a piece of a grill recovered at the scene indicates the vehicle involved in the crash was an early 1990's Ford Ranger pickup truck.

They say the pickup truck will have extensive damage to the grill, hood and windshield area.

The grill is grey in color, but the pickup truck itself could be any color.
