Goodwill of Tulsa Mixes Trendy with Thrifty at 'Frugal Fashion Workshop'

TULSA---Today Goodwill of Tulsa held a ‘Frugal Fashion Workshop' at its Southwest Boulevard location. Helping it customers to dress in style while watching their budget, Director of Retail Services Rita Gilliam taught the audience how to match basic wardrobe items with fashion finds to create a myriad of looks.

‘Starting with the basics and building that wardrobe so that you can dress up that pair of pants or dress it down but yet wear it numerous times,' said Nancy Webster, Director Of Community Relations, ‘and have multiple different jackets or sweaters or blouses that can take you from a sporty event to dressy to just a business-casual.'

With senior days twice a month, plus various sales each month (all found in flyers passed out in the stores or on Goodwill of Tulsa's web site) building a trendy yet thrifty wardrobe has become even easier.
