Funeral Service Set For Aja Johnson

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Aja Johnson's father says his daughter will be laid to rest next week.

The remains of Aja and Lester Hobbs were found Monday in Norman. Hobbs was charged with murdering Aja's mother and kidnapping the girl back in January.

Until Monday, law enforcement officers searched for the missing girl who hadn't been seen since Hobbs' estranged wife, Tonya was found beaten to death in an RV in Geronimo on January 24.

Aja's funeral is Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

There are new details about the investigation into Aja's disappearance.

An FBI spokesman now says the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation turned down the FBI's offer to help search for Aja and Lester Hobbs.

But, an OSBI official says an FBI agent was involved and told OSBI agents they were doing everything on a checklist used by the FBI abduction team.
