Plan To Overhaul Tulsa's Parks Unveiled

TULSA, OK -- A plan to overhaul Tulsa's parks was unveiled Tuesday night.

A report presented to the public concludes that facilities at Tulsa's parks are rundown and in desperate need of rehabilitation.

The next step is to survey the city's needs and find out which parks and park services are priorities. 

The city doesn't want to sink a lot of money into fixing pools, tennis courts and community centers if no one plans to use them.

Organizers say it's the first parks master plan in 30 years.
