TULSA, OK -- Tulsa County jurors are clearly fed up with armed robbers.

This week, a Tulsa County District Court jury recommended a prison term of life plus 109 years for a 23-year-old Tulsa man.

The jury found Terry Darnell guilty of two armed robberies, two burglaries, possession of a firearm and a stolen vehicle stemming from a December 2008 incident.

In one incident, Tulsa Police say Darnell broke into the home of an 81-year-old man. In the other, he broke into a home where two teenagers were inside and held them at gunpoint.

The jury also recommended a $60,000 penalty.

Sentencing for Darnell is scheduled for March 29.
