TULSA, OK -- The latest on the ongoing saga between the Tulsa police union the City of Tulsa is a lawsuit.
In 2008, the City of Tulsa decided to make officers pay to drive their police cars to their off-duty jobs.
The City of Tulsa began deducting about $30 a month from the officers' paychecks. The police union believed that violated their contract, and the issue went to arbitration.
Last November, the arbitrator agreed and said the city should stop charging the officers, plus reimburse them.
However, that has not happened, so FOP Local 93 filed a lawsuit in Tulsa County District Court asking a judge to make the city abide by the arbitrator's decision.
