UNDATED -- Oklahoma's food banks in Tulsa and Oklahoma City are competing with the rest of the country for a truckload of food from Tyson Foods.
The campaign is called "We Can End This," which was initiated by an organization called CauseShift.
It's a year-long campaign to shift the conversation of hunger in America and create real, tangible solutions.
Included in the campaign is the opportunity for 10 states to receive a truckload of food from Tyson.
To receive the food, people are encouraged to go to wecanendthis.com and input their name and e-mail address and then send a digital can to a state.
The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma says Oklahoma and Vermont are in a neck-and-neck battle for first place.
CauseShift says this challenge is to get people's attention about hunger in America.
The campaign runs through Thursday, March 18 at 5 p.m. and each of the top ten states will each get a semi-truck load of Tyson Foods product with half going to the food bank in Tulsa and the other half to the food bank in Oklahoma City.
