TULSA, OK -- Many people believe music can work magic. It can energize and motivate, and even calm and hold the attention of a group of preschoolers for almost an hour.

That same spellbinding program created here in Tulsa, will be used to entertain and educate cruise ship passengers all over the world.

On Tuesday, kids and adults were having the time of their lives with music and rhythm at a class at the Midtown School of Performing Arts.

Teresa Sutter was the leader of a group and had as much fun as the kids.

"It's cool because you get to teach music, get to teach rhythm, get to teach melody and have fun at the same time," said Teresa Sutter, Midtown School of Performing Arts.

Sutter is a musician herself, in fact she wrote or co-wrote most of the songs used in the program.

"We are in maybe 12 to 15 preschools around town, we do in home daycare," said Tami Losoncy, Midtown School of Performing Arts.

Losoncy believes music is a spiritual journey to the soul.

"We want to reach as many souls as we can with the music we are creating," said Losoncy.

Now, this curriculum based music program is going worldwide aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise ships, beginning on their newest liner, Oasis of the Seas.

"We will roll out on four more ships this year and over the next two years, we'll be on I think all 23 of their ships," said Losoncy.

They'll be touching kids all over the world with music written and recorded in Tulsa.

The music program is available at the Midtown School of Performing Arts or they can bring it to you. For more information, visit their website.
