Home's Heater Sparks Sunday Morning Tulsa Fire

The Tulsa Fire Department reports a house fire early Sunday was likely caused by a problem with the heating unit.

TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Fire Department reports a house fire early Sunday was likely caused by a problem with the heating unit.

The 5,383 square foot home at 6318 East 110th Street burned early Sunday. It was built in 2007, was unoccupied and was for sale.

Fire Department spokesman Bill French said investigators determined the fire started in a mechanical closet at the home and were waiting for results of lab tests to narrow down the cause.

The home was listed for $850,000.

Fire officials say the home was destroyed.

There were no injuries.
