TULSA, OK -- Runners from 29 states raced their way through parts of Green Country this weekend.
They laced up their running shoes to run 10, 25, or 50 kilometers on hilly trails at the Post Oak Lodge, just north of downtown Tulsa.
The racers weren't just running for bragging rights, they were raising money for the Tulsa Boys Home and the Oklahoma Botanical Gardens.
It's the first time the Tulsa Running Club has hosted a trail race and race officials say it won't be the last. They hope to turn this into an annual event and make it one of the premier races in the country.
