WASHINGTON, D.C. -- An Oklahoma family is in Washington, D.C. for the hearings on Toyota's safety.

Barbara Schwartz died after her friend's Toyota Camry crashed in 2007 near Eufaula.

Her daughters say their mom lived long enough after the crash to say something that's haunted them for years.

"She just kept reiterating that Jean could not stop the car," said Margie Meibergen, daughter of crash victim Barbara Schwarz.

The Camry her friend was driving isn't part of the recall, but the family says it was the design of the vehicle that caused the crash.

They're suing Toyota.
