Power Failure Closes TCC's Southeast Campus

All evening classes have been canceled at Tulsa Community College's Southeast Campus after a problem with routine electrical repairs led to a power failure.

TULSA, OK -- All evening classes have been canceled at Tulsa Community College's Southeast Campus after a problem with routine electrical repairs led to a power failure.

A college spokesperson says there was damage to a main line fuse during routine replacement repairs Thursday afternoon resulting in an electrical failure on campus.

The campus closed at 4 p.m. Thursday for repairs. All evening classes have been canceled.

Repairs are expected to take four to six hours.

The campus will re-open for classes as scheduled on Friday, February 19th.

Scheduled theatrical events at the Van Trease Performing Arts Center for Education will continue as planned for Thursday evening.
