TULSA, OK -- A fire destroyed a home in northwest Tulsa early Monday morning.
Tulsa police say a city dispatcher saw the house in the 2500 block of North 33 West Avenue in flames and called 911.
Tulsa firefighters had to bring in water from a distance because there were no fire hydrants nearby.
The roof of the house collapsed while firefighters were inside, but all were able to get out okay.
The Tulsa Fire Department says the house was empty when the fire broke out.
The cause of the house fire remains under investigation.
