TULSA, OK -- A police pursuit Saturday night ends with two suspects in custody.

Catoosa officers said it all started when they attempted to pull over a car at Pine and Lynn Lane in Catoosa because of an unreadable license plate.

Instead of stopping, the car drove away onto I-44 westbound. Officers say someone in the vehicle started throwing items out of the vehicle. Officers said the items appeared as though they could be meth making materials.

The vehicle continued onto 169 southbound, at which point officers said something resembling a white powder was thrown out of the vehicle.

The vehicle exited 169 southbound onto 21st Street and pulled over at a Kmart parking lot. The two suspects, both in their late 40s, were taken into police custody.

Officers said they believe the suspects threw out anything they thought to be incriminating before pulling over.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department are also working the case.

Officers are backtracking the route of the pursuit and looking for the items that were thrown from the vehicle.
