TULSA, OK -- Four men armed with guns robbed the Dooley Pharmacy, 4120 South 25th West Avenue. It happened at about 9:30 Saturday morning.
Tulsa Police said four men ages 16-20 stormed the pharmacy. The pharmacist told police the men stayed inside the pharmacy for awhile, taking drugs and some cash.
The men left on foot though police believed there was a getaway car parked nearby.
A silver Monte Carlo was seen fleeing the scene shortly after the robbery, according to officers. Robbery detectives working on information gathered from previous robberies informed the Tulsa Police Patrol officers.
Soon after learning this information, patrol officers stopped a silver Monte Carlo driven by 21-year-old Marquis Devers. The passenger in the vehicle was 20-year-old Kenneth Hopkins, officers said.
Officers said both suspects have warrants outstanding. Inside the vehicle was evidence from the pharmacy robbery. Officers recovered two semi-auto handguns. Police said one was stolen from a Tulsa burglary on January 6.
Both suspects were arrested on several complaints, including armed robbery of the Dooley's Pharmacy.
No one was injured in the robbery.
