TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa woman was the victim of a hit and run two years ago Tuesday.  Amber Renfro was standing in a parking lot, when a man swerved, hit her and never looked back.

She was six months pregnant at the time, the baby did not survive and no one has ever been arrested.

Amber has new hope in her life. She is expecting a baby girl in just a few weeks.

Amber Renfro is only 24-years-old, but she has already endured a lifetime of pain.

Her first child, Samantha, lived just five months and then died from a lung disease. That was in May of 2007.

Amber had gotten pregnant again and she was six months along with a little boy when she was hit by a car while she was waiting for a bus.

The man did not have a license, was passing in a no-passing zone and never even hit the brakes or stopped.

Baby Jace was delivered through an emergency C-section, but only lived long enough to be baptized before a brain injury took his life.

That was just eight months after his sister's death. Amber finds comfort that they're together.

"God needed them in heaven for some special reason by his side. Maybe Samantha was lonely and needed Jace," Amber said.

It has been two years since Jace passed away and his parents have been through so much emotional pain.

Amber was in a wheelchair for six months and had to learn to walk again. She thinks about the driver often.

"I've heard he has children. How would he feel if it was the other way around? If I had done that to him and he lost one of his children," Amber said.

She says police believe they know who the driver is, but getting enough evidence to charge him has been tough.

She and her husband are trying to look toward a brighter future. They are expecting a little girl in a few weeks. They are both nervous and hopeful.

"I'm ready and excited. I've already been a mom and I want to be one again. It's exciting to have a chance to do that," Amber said.

Amber says two witnesses did come forward, the owner of the car and a woman who saw the suspect right after the crash, but police still need more so if anyone has information about the crash, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.

Amber's due date is February 5th and they plan to name the little girl, Abigail.
