Deputies Attempt To Serve Arrest Warrants For Arrow Trucking Owner & Son

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies attempted to serve arrest warrants Tuesday for two executives from Arrow Trucking.

A Cleveland County judge issued the arrest warrants on December 29th for Arrow Trucking owner Carol Pielsticker and her son, CEO Doug Pielsticker.

The court says they failed to appear in court to face a lawsuit relating to a deadly crash in 2006. According to court records, Steven Upchurch filed suit after his son Ian Upchurch was killed in a 2006 traffic accident on I-35. The suit alleges that a drunk Arrow truck driver intentionally rear-ended Upchurch. The Pielstickers are named in the suit.

A spokesman for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says Pielsticker wasn't home.

"Right now, in its face value, the warrant is still good. We're going to continue to execute it," said Sgt. Shannon Clark, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies received the warrants Monday. 

Pielsticker's company, Arrow Trucking, abruptly halted operations before Christmas leaving hundreds of truckers out of work and dozens stranded far from home, truckers like J.P. Price.

Price happened to drive by Pielsticker's home shortly after deputies arrived Tuesday. He said his son was born Monday, he has two potential job offers and he doesn't feel too sorry for his former boss.

Court officials say those warrants were recalled.

Pielsticker's lawyer declined an interview request from The News On 6.

Deputies say a woman who answered the door Tuesday let them in, but she refused to give her name or relation to Pielsticker. His mansion is up for sale. The asking price is $3.9 million.
