OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma crews are working around the clock to clear highways and have made some progress in clearing lanes in the central and eastern parts of the state, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety announced Saturday afternoon.
In northeastern Oklahoma, however, many roads are still snow packed and hazardous.
Crews are being moved from the western part of the state where the blizzard hit first to the parts of the state still in the worst shape.
Slippery roads have been blamed for at least 21 deaths across the nation as the slow-moving storm traverses the country.
Parts of at least 10 states were under blizzard warnings, including a line that stretches from North Dakota to Oklahoma.
