TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Police Department is investigating an armed robbery/home invasion after they report three people were bound with zip ties.
The incident happened shortly before 5:30 Tuesday morning at a home in the 5800 block of South Richmond.
The victims told officers two people entered the home after kicking in the back door. The suspects went into one of the bedrooms and used a Taser on one of the victims, according to police. Police say they subdued the victim and bound him with zip ties.
The suspects then went inside another bedroom where two other people were and bound them with zip ties as well, according to police.
Officers say the suspects asked for money as they ransacked the home.
Once the suspects left, officers say one victim was able to free himself and call police.
One victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital with head injuries. Officers say the injuries were consistent with being pistol whipped.
Police are looking for two white men who were wearing dark clothing and ski masks. One suspect was armed with a handgun. Police say the victim initially identified one of the suspects, but later changed that statement.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
