TULSA, OK -- 47-year-old Carmile Sulvetta turned herself in to Homicide Detectives Friday. Sulvetta will be booked into the Tulsa Jail to face a Conspiracy To Commit A Felony charge.
The arrest is in connection with the murder of Guy Jones last Friday. Police believe the murder originated as a dispute over a bulldog and breeding attempts.
Police say Carmile Sulvetta is believed to have "masterminded" the homicide. They say Sulvetta "orchestrated meetings which ultimately led to the victim's death."
Detective Roger Smith, Tulsa Homicide, said the investigation has revealed that Sulvetta may have contracted with the five suspects to arrange the Jones' death.
Sulvetta contacted Tulsa Police earlier this week to let them know she would be returning to Tulsa from New Jersey.
