Creek County Family Of Seven Loses Home To Fire

When units arrived, the house was fully involved in fire. The Creek County Sheriff's Department searched the home and determined that no one was at home at the time of the fire.

CREEK COUNTY -- A family of nine's home and its contents are a total lose after a Creek County house fire on Tuesday.

The house was located on 369th West Avenue near Mannford.

When firefighters arrived, the house was fully involved in fire. The Creek County Sheriff's Office searched the home and determined that no one was at home at the time of the fire. 

It is undetermined what started or caused the fire. 

Deputies say the homeowners had propane delivered that morning and two propane heaters were being used to heat the house, though they are unsure if the heaters had anything to do with the fire.

The Creek County Sheriff's Office has been in contact with the family since the fire.

Red Cross and the Salvation Army were contacted to offer help to the family.

A donation fund has been set up for the family.
