Man Dies In Motorcycle Collision On Broken Arrow Expressway

Officers say 47-year-old Bryan Kent Buttram hit a bridge with his motorcycle. The impact threw him off the motorcycle and he landed on the railroad tracks below.

TULSA, OK -- One person has died in a motorcycle accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Tulsa police say the accident happened a little after 10:00 Sunday night over the Lewis exit.

Officers responded to a report of an abandoned motorcycle that was still running.

They found it wrecked on the side of the bridge.

Officers say 47-year-old Bryan Kent Buttram hit the bridge with his motorcycle and the impact threw him onto the railroad tracks below. 

Police say he died at the scene and no other vehicles were involved.

Officers shut down the area to traffic for about three hours to clean up the wreckage.
