Leadership Tulsa Collects For Meals On Wheels Blizzard Bags

Tulsa, OK -- A local community group is helping the hungry with a generous donation.

Leadership Tulsa is celebrating the holidays by collecting food that can be used in Blizzard Bags.

Meals on Wheels gives the bags to the homebound to use on days when they cannot make deliveries because of bad weather.

Wendy Thomas, Leadership Tulsa, said, "It's such a small way to help out. It's so easy for those of us who've been so blessed."

Leadership Tulsa collects items each year at their holiday party to give to charity.
Meals on Wheels estimates the group donated enough food for abouT 200 Blizzard Bags.
