TULSA, OK -- Tulsa School Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard has ordered mandatory athletic rules training for Tulsa Public Schools administrators.
The training follows an academic scandal at Booker T. Washington that forced several administrators to step down. Investigators say the school let 37 students compete in four sports even though they were flunking classes.

The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association seminar is set for Tuesday, December 15 at Fulton Teaching and Learning Academy, according to a release from TPS.
The seminar will cover TPS booster club-sanctioning policy and procedure, Title IX and association rules including residency requirements.
The training is mandatory for athletic directors and principals on the middle school and high school level and assistant principals in charge of athletics.
