STILLWATER, OK -- A target nailed firmly on their backs, the Cascia Hall Commandos stood up to the challenge and defeated the Berryhill Chiefs 21-0 to win the OSSAA Class 3A high school football championship.
The championship was the third-straight for the Commandos and the team's fourth shutout this season.
Scoring was hard to come by in the first half. Each team had a chance at a first half field goal and each kicker clanked those chances off the uprights to stay off the scoreboard.
The only first half score was set up by excellent punt coverage by Cascia Hall.
