TULSA, OK -- Christmas shopping is already underway and while you're out grabbing gifts, don't forget to pick one up for the Angel Tree Program.
The Salvation Army Brass Ensemble played Saturday as the organization kicked off its annual Angel Tree campaign.
The Angel Tree Program helps give children in need a Merry Christmas.
News On 6 Anchor Tara Vreeland was at the Promenade Mall Saturday and Anchor Terry Hood picked the first angel off the tree at Woodland Hills.
Shoppers can participate in the Angel Tree program by taking a tag from the Angel Tree at either mall and buying gifts for the child whose name, age and ‘want list' for toys and clothes are on the tag.
Shoppers are asked to return the new, unwrapped gifts to the malls by December 12th.
