HASKELL COUNTY -- Foggy conditions and a deer combined to cause a fatality accident early Thursday morning in Haskell County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 67-year-old James Dodson of Longtown was southbound on State Highway 2 at about 6 a.m. when he struck the deer.
Troopers say there was dense fog in the area at the time of the accident, which happened about two miles east of Quinton.
Dodson was pronounced dead at the scene from internal injuries.
According to the trooper who investigated the crash, Dodson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
