UNDATED -- A bill in the last legislative session that would have required the state's official signs to use either "OK!" or "Oklahoma!" as the state's name did not make it out of the legislative process.
A viewer emailed the NewsOn6.com expressing concern about state House bill 2230, which would have the state Department of Transportation, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department change the wording on all signs by using "Oklahoma!" or "OK!".
A check with the state Legislature offices in Oklahoma City determined the bill died before getting to a full vote of the state House.
