OHP: One Person Dies In Bixby Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash. The crash happened at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at 151st and Harvard.

BIXBY, OK -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is still investigating a fatal crash. The crash happened at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at 151st and Harvard.

A trooper was traveling on 151st Street and noticed a maroon car driving erratically. The trooper started following the car and before getting the car stopped, it left the roadway into a drainage ditch, went airborne, crossed two lanes of traffic, and then t-boned a car traveling in the opposite lane, troopers say.

Troopers say a passenger in the car that was hit, died. Life Flight transported a passenger.

A Life Flight helicopter also transported the driver of the maroon car.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

OHP says the driver of the maroon car may have had a medical problem before the crash.
