TULSA, OK -- The rock group KISS has added Tulsa to its Alive 35 North American Tour schedule.

NewsOn6.com broke the story after learning about a posting on a web site run by the group's fans.

That post announced that the band will play at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa on December 8th, as part of the band's Alive 35 North American Tour.

The post also announced that the band had added shows in Kansas City; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Pittsburgh; and Sault Saint Marie, Ontario after the Tulsa show, all of which has been confirmed by the band and the BOK Center.

According to a news release from the BOK Center, the KISS Alive 35 North American Tour embarked on September 25th in Detroit and has been met with sold-out, standing-room-only crowds at almost every stop.

Ticket prices for the Tulsa show have not yet been announced, but at the Toyota Center in Houston, tickets are selling for $125, $75, $49.50, and $25 for the band's December 5th show there.

According to bass player Gene Simmons, "For 35 years, KISS has rocked all over the world to sold-out crowds and set the standard for what a rock show should be. This tour will solidify our place in history for having the loudest, most entertaining and hardest rockin' show in all of music."

KISS is touring in support of its first studio album in 11 years, called SONIC BOOM, which was released this week.

But the title of its current tour celebrates the band's breakthrough 1975 album, Alive!

"We are thrilled that the demand for additional KISS dates has been so overwhelming," said Paul Stanley.  "We're excited to show off the new pyrotechnics and costumes for our die-hard followers.  Fans can expect some iconic KISS Alive classics as well as some hits off our new release, SONIC BOOM!"
