Tulsa Police Traffic Stop Lands Man In Jail

TULSA, OK -- A man is in the Tulsa County jail following a traffic stop overnight. 

Tulsa Police say an officer noticed a car at the traffic light at 61^st and Lewis not moving after the light had changed several times at about 2:15 a.m.

The officer went up to the car to check on the driver and noticed a 9mm pistol in the car. 

The driver told the officer he had worked a double shift and was tired. 

After a check, Tulsa Police found the man had a previous felony conviction and could not legally own a handgun.
