TULSA, OK -- The city of Tulsa has cut off water to the Tulsa Zoo while crews make repairs at the city's water treatment plant.
Officials say the Tulsa Zoo will remain open, but guests can anticipate the closure of all on-site bathrooms and food service areas.
The Tulsa Zoo has set temporary public restrooms and hand-washing stations at two locations.
In anticipation of the water outage, the Tulsa Zoo has received water deliveries to store for its animals and as a result, no animals are expected to be impacted by the shut off of service.
City officials expect the repairs to be finished by Thursday and water service restored at the Tulsa Zoo.
