TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man is hospitalized after he was shot while he was sleeping early Monday morning and another man is shot while he says he was walking down the street.
The shooting involving a sleeping man happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Silver Springs Apartments near 61st and Memorial.
Tulsa Police say someone became suspicious when two men began knocking on an apartment door.
A man went to check on them and the suspects shot at him but missed. The suspects then kicked in the apartment door, went inside and shot Theodore Pacheco in his bed.
"Officers arrived, went to the apartment and found a black male had been shot once in the upper torso. He's been transported to an area hospital where he's being treated," said Tulsa Police Captain Brett Bailey.
Police say Pacheco's injuries are not life threatening.
Police officers are still looking for the two suspects, but so far have no leads.
Also overnight, Tulsa Police were called to Hillcrest Medical Center after a shooting victim was dropped off at the emergency room.
Police say this shooting may be related to the other shooting.
Police say 18-year-old Deandre Tottress told them he was walking at Admiral and Harvard around 12:30 a.m. when he was shot.
Witnesses told officers, a vehicle pulled up at Hillcrest and left the shooting victim behind.
Tottress says he doesn't know who shot him or even who took him to the hospital.
Tulsa Police say they haven't found a crime scene and Tottress has been uncooperative.
They also say Tottress' injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
