TULSA, OK -- It was a celebration a century in the making for one Tulsa woman.

Tillie Schneider is turning 100 on Monday. On Sunday, her family and friends gathered at the Burgundy Place Retirement Center in Tulsa to throw her a big birthday bash.

Tillie says turning 100 was no surprise to her, but everything that came along with it was.

"I always knew I'd be 100, but I always thought I'd be mentally and agilely, I still thought I'd be 50. And it doesn't work that way," said Tillie Schneider, who is turning 100-years-old.

Tillie Schneider says the secret to living a long life is being happy.
