UNDATED -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency says no to farmers and homeowners wiped out by flooding in Mayes County last May.
At the same time, FEMA has said "no" to farmers and homeowners in Mayes County, wiped out by flooding in May.
Residents say the May-Day flood caused some of the worst damage in the county's history. FEMA administrators told Governor Henry state and local governments should be able to handle the cost of the clean-up, without federal help.
