Residents Escape Harm In Tulsa House Fire

Neighbors helped two residents escape from a house in the 3300 block of West Archer that was badly damaged by flames Friday afternoon.

TULSA, OK  -- A home in the 3300 block of West Archer was badly damaged by fire Friday afternoon. Tulsa firefighters responded to the structure fire just after 3:30 p.m.

Two residents were present at the time of the fire. Neighbors noticed the blaze and helped the occupants escape without injury.

The small, wood-frame house is located in a heavily treed lot.  Tulsa Red Cross and EMSA were called to the area.

The cause of the house fire is currently under investigation.
