SEMINOLE, OK -- A fundraiser was held Saturday to help the families of two fallen Seminole County Sheriff's deputies.

The men and women of law enforcement, along with a crowd of supporters, took part in a softball game at Seminole Softball Complex to benefit the families of Marvin Williams and Chase Whitebird.

The two were shot and killed by a man they were trying to arrest last month.

"We just wanted to show our support for these families. It was such a tragedy and we just wanted to be a part of it and show our support for everybody else," said Lisa Vaughn, who attended the fundraiser.

All of the proceeds from entry fees and concessions will go to the deputies' families.

The families of the fallen deputies received the Sheriff's Cross Award.
