TULSA, OK -- Four-time Grammy winner and Checotah, Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood will be inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in September.
The Music Hall of Fame announced its list of 2009 inductees Monday morning.
The other two inductees are Rocky Frisco and Ramona Reed.
Underwood, along with Frisco and Reed, will perform at the 13th annual Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame ceremony and concert on September 17th in Muskogee.
"All three of this year's inductees are worthy recipients of this honor. Each is recognized worldwide for their musical talent, and we are proud that each calls Oklahoma home," said Max Boydstrun, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame board chairman.
Rocky Frisco is a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa and Ramona Reed is from Talihina and appeared on the Grand Ole Opry.
In addition, the Oklahoma Music Hall Of Fame will present C.H. Parker with its Governor Award.
