BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Summer is almost over and that means it's time to hit the books.
Some Broken Arrow students have a brand new place to learn this year. A lot of people showed up to check out the city's first 4th and 5th Grade Center, located at 251 East Omaha.

The principal says the center has an incredible media center, gym and of course dozens of new classrooms.
"It's the first 4th and 5th grade center in Broken Arrow, so it's a new concept and so we're really excited about, 4th and fifth grade together, brand new building, beautiful building," said Sue Katterhenry, 4th and 5th Grade Center Principal.
City leaders say they needed more space because of the growing population on the north side of town. Voters passed a bond in 2006 to pay for the new building.
School starts in Broken Arrow on Wednesday, but you can meet your teacher on Monday. Broken Arrow is hosting its annual event at all elementary schools from 4-6 p.m.
