TULSA, OK -- An ammonia leak inside a building in Tulsa prompted an evacuation Monday morning.

Tulsa Fire was dispatched to an ammonia leak at 4477 South 70th East Avenue shortly after 9 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters began evacuation procedures.

EMSA was also dispatched to the scene to monitor the firefighters while they were working to stop the leak.

Fire says three employees inside the building declined treatment at the scene.

Tulsa Fire officials say a fork lift truck cut a line to a 3,000 gallon ammonia tank inside the building.

The leak was stopped and the building was ventilated.
