TULSA, OK -- In west Tulsa, folks learned about general health care, nutrition and education.
The Westside Harvest Market and Color Me True Workshops got together to create a community festival Saturday near 23rd and Nogales Avenue.
Organizers brought in bands, plenty of food and games for the kids. But, they say they wanted to do more than entertain people for an evening.
"It's about empowerment holistically. Food for the body, spirit and the soul," said Mary Williams, Color Me True Workshops.
Color Me True Workshops has been around for more than 15 years with the goal of teaching people the skills to make their dreams come true.
