Young Tulsa Musicians Show Off Their Stuff

TULSA, OK -- Tuesday was time for final exams at a real-life School of Rock in Tulsa.  Students from the Oklahoma Music Academy held their own Battle of the Bands near 2^nd and Greenwood.

The kids were responsible for choosing their band names, their set-list, and rehearsing before the singing showdown.

Stephen Sesso plays bass and guitar and says this summer has really helped sharpen his skills.

"I'm going to play at a birthday party this Saturday, and I played at a hemophiliac camp just a couple weeks back," said Stephen Sesson with the Oklahoma Music Academy.

In all, 30 students took part, dividing into seven bands for the concert.
