Streetman Announces For Mayoral Race

Local realtor Norris Streetman says his focus if elected as Tulsa's next mayor will be crime and creativity.

TULSA, OK -- Local realtor Norris Streetman says he's running to replace Mayor Kathy Taylor in the race to become Tulsa's next mayor. Streetman made his mayoral announcement today in a neighborhood on South Garnett where a young boy was recently killed in a drive-by shooting.

Streetman says that as mayor he wants to focus on crime and creativity.

"Together we can come up with creative ideas on how to deal with crime how to work with the street solutions and also to create Tulsa as the creative capitol of the world," said candidate Norris Streetman.

The official filing period for mayor starts next week. And even more candidates could drop their name in the hat before then.
