Arrest Made In Tulsa Arson Case

TULSA, OK - An afternoon house fire prompts an arson investigation and an arrest.

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a house fire at 55 North Gary just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday. When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were coming out of the several doors and windows.

Tulsa Fire Captain Steve Rhodes says, once inside, fire crews found several rooms on fire. Given the multiple points of origin for the fire, investigators are handling the case as arson.

Kenny Martinez, 26, has been arrested in connection with the fire.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.
