TULSA, OK -- Tulsa city leaders are talking trade with nine European consuls.
All are taking part in an International Economic Forum. The consuls will visit a number of businesses during their time in Tulsa. It's one way the Tulsa Mayor's Office hopes to improve trade opportunities.
The representative from Russia says Oklahoma has a lot to offer his country. He says it already buys equipment for the oil and gas industry. But, he says there are more opportunities out there.
"One of our tasks is to explore those opportunities and to promote them in Russia and see how we can be helpful for local companies to do business on the Russian markets," said Russia's Deputy Counsul General Kirill Mihailov.
The economic forum wraps up on Thursday.
