BROKEN ARROW, OK -- In these tough economic times, many people are turning to friends and family for help.
But one Tulsa woman is getting a helping hand from a complete stranger.
Rachel Siegel is a young mom-to-be. Her husband was recently laid-off.
Siegel used the popular web site Craigslist to ask others where she could find a cheap place to have a baby shower.
A Broken Arrow woman read that post and decided to step in.
Tamara Johnson organized a Craigslist baby shower for a woman she had never met.
"Just trying to show a little compassion to a fellow Craigslister," said Tamara Johnson, shower hostess.
"I'm so thankful that they did it for me," said Rachel Siegel, a mom-to-be. "There's no words to explain what, you know, someone can do for someone they don't even know, it's...it's amazing."
Siegel is having a little girl and is due later this fall.
