TULSA, OK -- There was a happy homecoming for a Bixby soldier at Tulsa International Airport on Friday afternoon.
Cody Swank's wife and mother were at the airport to welcome their hero home from Iraq. Swank's been away for a year, and his wife says it was tough having him gone.
"Sometimes I wouldn't be able to talk to him for a while, but for the most part he kept in touch. And then, for a while it was a little edgy," said Ingred Swank.
Things were edgy because Swank was stabbed by an inmate in an Iraqi prison. He's fine now. Swank will be home for a month before heading off to Germany.
