BROKEN ARROW, OK -- People in Broken Arrow took a trip back in time Saturday with the grand opening of the city's history museum.
The Broken Arrow Historical Society Museum celebrates the rich history of the Indian city from its Creek roots to its famous Rooster Days Festivals.
The museum also has interactive demonstrations including a basket weaving class and bow and arrow making.
"It's not a stand and stare museum," said Betty Gerber, historical society executive director. "It's interactive, it's educational, but it's fun."
The new museum is open daily and is located at the corner of Main Street and El Paso in Broken Arrow.
