Tulsa Woman Shot In The Face

TULSA, OK -- A woman is in a Tulsa hospital after she was shot in the face overnight.

Police were called to the 5700 block of North Frankfort just before midnight.

Police officers say a 21-year old woman and her boyfriend went to her ex-husband's house.

When the ex-husband, 46-year-old Barry Tillis saw his ex with another man, he grabbed a gun.

Tulsa Police say Tillis shot the woman in the cheek and then turned to shoot the boyfriend, but his gun jammed.

Officers say all this happened, while the woman's child sat and watched in the backseat of her car.

The woman was taken to a Tulsa hospital with what police say was non-life threatening wounds.

Tillis was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and pointing a deadly weapon with intent.
